Union Station D.C. is a superbly restored, historic, mixed-use, intermodal transportation and shopping center located just blocks from the U.S. Capitol Building. Union Station D.C. is one of the most iconic destinations in Washington, D.C. Union Station D.C. is equipped with 3 levels of shopping and dining, a 4-level parking garage, and one of the most breathtaking historical spaces in the country.

The transportation hub and retail destination are visited by over 40 million people each year. The terminal is served by METRO, Amtrak, MARC, and VRE commuter railroads, and is the main bus terminal of Washington D.C. as well as a drop-off and pick-up center for many D.C. tour bus operators. Union Station D.C. has been serving as the gateway to the nation’s capital for over a century and has every intention of continuing to do so.

Washington Union Station is open 7 days a week, with businesses operating during the following hours:

Retail Stores: Monday – Saturday, 10AM – 9PM, Sunday, 12PM – 6PM
Food Court: Monday – Friday, 7AM – 9PM, Saturday 7AM – 9PM, Sunday, 7AM – 6PM
Sit-Down Restaurants: Times vary. Please contact each restaurant individually.

Some hours may vary; not all retailers are open at the hours listed above; visit individual listings for specific hours.

Please be advised that Union Station is closed to the public daily from 11PM to 5AM. During that time, the station will only be accessible to ticketed passengers.
