Union Station Parking Garage is a 24-hour, multi-level parking facility that serves as one of the city’s major bus hubs. The garage services Boltbus, Greyhound, Megabus, Peter Pan, DC2NY, OurBus, and Washington Deluxe. The bus is also the pick-up and drop-off location for charter and tour buses. Access is available from Massachusetts Avenue, NE – from a ramp on the East side of Union Station as well as behind the station from a ramp on H Street, NE.

NOTE: Validation machines are located on the upper level of Union Station at the entrance/exit to the Parking Garage. Please insert your ticket according to the display and your ticket will automatically validate if applicable. No discounts given at exit. If you are disputing a ticket charge, before paying the ticket please either press the “intercom” button or call the on duty Supervisor at 202.834.0272 for immediate assistance.

Electric Car Charging Station: There is currently one charging unit at Level 1 just opposite the escalator. The fitting is universal for all electric vehicles and a credit card is required to activate charging.

The Union Station Parking Garage Bus Terminal is located on the Main Level of the parking garage and can be accessed from the Mezzanine Level of the station.

Motor Coach/Charter/Bus Parking: The Union Station Bus Terminal is designed to accommodate a number of tour and charter buses and offers convenient drop-off locations for tour groups. There are 32 bus spaces available daily and parking permits are issued on a first come, first serve basis. Only reservations are guaranteed a parking space.

Rates vary depending on the time blocks through which the vehicle will be parked. If the vehicle will be parked during multiple time blocks, then the combined rates of those time blocks will be applied. Only parking reservations are sold at a flat rate and allow in and out privileges. All other parking permits expire upon exiting the building (even if there is time left on the permit) and a new permit must be purchased for re-entry.

Bus parking may be reserved by sending an email including the requested dates and times to management@uspgllc.com.

Off-Peak and Non-Special Event Rates are in effect when it is not tourism season (July-February) or when there isn’t a special event happening at the station. Peak & Special Event Rates are in effect from July-February and whenever there is a special event taking place at the station.

Pick up and Drop Off for Charter and/or Tour buses are strictly prohibited in front of Union Station, Columbus Plaza, and/or Massachusetts Ave. All violators will be ticketed immediately. These services are only valid within the Bus Deck Facility. Please make your Drivers aware of this policy.
