What are the hours for shopping and dining?

Union Station shops, restaurant and market are open 7 days a week during the following hours:

  • Retail stores: Monday – Saturday, 10AM – 9PM, Sunday, 12PM – 6PM
  • Food Court: Monday – Friday, 6AM – 9PM, Saturday 9AM – 9PM, Sunday, 7AM – 6PM, some hours may vary; not all food court vendors open at 6AM, visit individual listings for specific hours.
  • Sit Down Restaurants: Times vary. Please contact each restaurant individually.

Amenities FAQs

Does Union Station offer guided tours?

No, at this time we do not offer guided tours. For a self-guided tour of Union Station, download the Union Station Tour App on iTunes or GooglePlay.

Does Union Station have a place to store baggage?

Baggage storage is available near Gate A on the Amtrak concourse. For more information, please call (202) 898-1592.

Does Union Station rent wheelchairs?

No, wheelchairs are not available for rent at Union Station, but Bike and Roll offers manual wheelchairs at their Union Station location as well as their National Mall location (at the Old Post Office Pavilion). For more information, visit http://www.bikethesites.com or call (202) 842-2453.

 

Amtrak Passengers

Amtrak passengers requiring wheelchair assistance must make arrangements when buying tickets. For more information visit www.Amtrak.com or call 1-800-872-7245.

Does the Union Station parking garage offer any electric car charging stations?

Yes. There is currently one charging unit at Level 1 just opposite the escalator. The fitting is universal for all electric vehicles and a credit card is required to activate charging.

Our organization would like to pass out information at Union Station. Do we need special permission?

Yes, there is a daily fee. Please contact Union Station management at (202) 289-1908 or management@unionstationdc.com.

I am interested in renting event space at Union Station. What do I need to do?

If you are interested in renting space for a public event or exhibit, please contact Union Station management at management@unionstationdc.com or (202) 289-1908.

For private events such as weddings or parties, please visit Special Events.

Are there corporate sponsorship opportunities at Union Station?

Do I need a permit to take photographs in Union Station?

Anyone is free to take pictures inside Union Station. However, if you will be using professional equipment such as a tripod, a permit is required. Please click here to complete the photo/film authorization form.

Rides & Parking FAQs

Is public parking available?

Yes, parking is available for cars and buses 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Access the parking garage via H St., NE, or via Columbus Circle at the east side of Union Station. Call (202) 898-1950 for availability and rates.

Is tour bus parking available at Union Station?

Yes. The Union Station Bus Deck is undergoing changes in an effort to expand transportation services and yet still accommodate tour and charter buses.
