World Water Day 2025

Come on down to Main Hall for World Water Day, from 10am-1pm on Saturday March 22nd!

We’ll be giving out free Union Station water bottles and showcasing the many water filling stations within Union Station. Plus, learn from local water conservation and safety experts as they share information and resources about keeping D.C.’s water safe, clean and accessible!

DC’s Department of Energy and Environment will have an engaging lineup of activities including:

• Trivia about how the District is doing on its water related goals
• Tips for helping keep our local streams and watersheds healthy
• An interactive way to view conditions of local streams
• A floodplain model to test and visualize how various factors can impact storm water runoff and flooding
• Info on the District’s wetlands
