In addition to serving as the hub for Amtrak's Headquarters, Union Station is a living and working museum housing over 100 specialty shops, an international food court, movie theater, and was listed as DC's busiest metro station in 2004. Today, Union Station attracts 90,000 visitors each day appealing to tourists, commuters, and local workers and residents.
